I'll make some phone calls tomorrow. I had a client not too long ago that needed a leg strap and he is house bound with no family. I brought one of my husbands extra ones to work and gave it to his home health aide to give to him. He was so greatful.
Sometimes it the simple things that matter.
I'll post tomorrow when I find places that could use the items.

He's still on the celexa, and the docs have added a couple of drugs that are doing a good job. There's tramadol, which is helping the pain, and klonopin for the anxiety. It made a BIG difference in about 48 hours.

We live in such a small town that there are no "free" clinics, etc. I would love to find a place to send the stuff. Got ideas?

Hi all

There may be some clinics, shelters or low income senior housing health centers in your area that would welcome some extra supplies.
I know a few "free" clinics that would LOVE to have donations of still sealed medical items.
I can also understand if you just want the items GONE!

Stephany,

What is Doran taking now for his depression? I remember after surgery he was having a hard time and was on celexa. It has to be hard for you dealing with both the depression which he fights and this disease itself, good luck on the housecleaning of old parafanalia, I just found a bag in the coat closet of night bags ,long cath tubes, etc. These are from the first turb,, right in there with pictures I am soon going to put in a album,, they have been then for a long time as well. Take care Stephany, wish I could sit and have a glass of something with you,,to cheer you up when your down yourself.. Ginger

Thans, Ginger. The box made it to the laundry room..so we're making progress. Doran is taking a new anti-anxiety med, and it's making a BIG difference.
