  • What is the natural progression of stage 3 invasive bladder without treatment

My husband is in hospice with stage 3 invasive muscle bladder cancer. I need some guidance on what to expect as he is not strong enough to undergo surgery, radiation or chemo. We are trying to plan for what he has to endure, what comes next. He is already experiencing painful urination, mucus and bleeding. What comes next? As anyone experienced this situation and can help with some
    thoughts on what is next.

I am so sorry to hear about your husband .   He is fortunate to have you with him for this journey .

I would suggest that you discuss this question in detail with your hospice staff and your husband’s urologist as they would be more familiar with his exact case then we would .   I have had more experience as a caregiver with hospice then I would wish but I found them extremely helpful and understanding what was to come and suggesting ways to deal with it .

Wishing you and your husband all the best
