Hi, I am a 70 yr old woman that had a malignant noninvasive bladder tumor removed 3 1/2 years ago Have been getting scoped every 6 months and Bingo , my last scope showed a very small tumor, there was nothing there 6 months ago. I am scheduled to go next week and have removed. My first tumor removal also included a stent in my kidney After the procedure I had horrible bladder spasm pain. Shuld I expect this again with no stent. Thank you

Glad the pain is minimal. I presume the original tumors or, after the new biopsy if it shows high grade you will get BCG?

DX 5/6/2008 TAG3 papillary tumor .5 CM in size. 2 TURBS followed by 6 instillations of BCG weekly with a second round of 6 after a 6 week wait.

I had a TURBT today and removed 2 very small tumors in 2 different areas. So far the pain has been minimal I don’t know if this sets a pattern and they will continue to increase

    Welcome Cindy 13,

Sorry you have a recurrence! I would make a guess that the stent was the cause of your spasm pain. I would certainly mention that your URO so they are at least on board with it.
