Blood clots 1st turbt
2 weeks post 1st turbt. I have had blood and clots for almost 2 weeks, few flushes with irrigations in hospital. I was released, so happy, last 3 days clear urine and no clots, gave me hope. Today bloody, with clots. What is and isn’t normal for healing? I am losing hope.

As we are not doctors, always call your provider for problems, and/or reassurance. It is common to pass a clot or 2, 10-17 days from the burning and cutting in the TURB. IT should be darker blood showing “old” blood”. However, this should last maybe a day or two. Bright blood would indicate current bleeding and irritation. You will get to the bottom of this, and it is likely to be a non-event.
DX 5/6/2008 TAG3 papillary tumor .5 CM in size. 2 TURBS followed by 6 instillations of BCG weekly with a second round of 6 after a 6 week wait.
