Recurrences no visible blood

Well, many times micro-hematuria is present, which is not visible, although detectible with urinalysis strips.

I still look to see if there is any visible blood in my urine at least weekly - even broke out the urinalysis strips I bought on Ebay the other day as well.

My urologist really frowned on me using the urinalysis strips... oh well..

I have had no reoccurance (TURBT just over a year ago) although I must admit that every time I go to the loo I look 2 see if any blood. Also I am concious of any bladder movement (having thought before I was suffering from the on set of cystitis).

I have been reading the forum but not posting recently as my dial up service gives me fits. Many tmes I have read of people anxiously looking back at their urination to see if there is any blood to indicate recurrence. I can equate with that as I did that for many months after my initial TURB. I have no had 4 recurrences but there was never any visible blood to signal it. So, I no longer hesitate to go in the dark and flush. LOL If we took a poll of those who have had recurrences, I would bet few had blood in urine announcing the recurrence.
