Erie that the big 12 month had to happen this week, but the Cysto is complete. What a nice present ........ the report is "All Clear". After 4 successive recurrences, never thought I would make it this far. Thanks to a wonderful Doc and the treatment that seems to be working. Did also start another round of maintenance BCG to help keep it at bay. No problem with that, you get to be experienced with the shot of gurgling juice. Looks like another check in 3 months, and if lucky, will get an extended vacation from Urologists for a while. I hope the input from all the great people here helps create survivors. Those early days of fear and anxiety are well remembered.
While good news today, I'll be ending the year with another doctor to discuss yet a new rare disease diagnosis(?) Nothing associated with the Bladder Cancer. Bummer. Gosh, sometimes it seems tough to stay ahead of the game. So let's see what new challenges lie ahead for 2014. Don't be messin' with my beach and beer time! For newbies and veterans, turn up a smile, and best wishes for all this Holiday Season.
