How wonderful, for you, that this is finally getting done. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers, and wishing you a "speedy recovery"

Well folks, the time has come to be done with my urethral stricture. On Tuesday, October 20, I'm scheduled for reconstructive surgery of the anterior urethra. The surgeon will cut into the perineum, expose the urethra, remove the stricture, and sew both ends of the urethra back together. I'll stay in the hospital overnight and go home catheterized for 2 weeks. I'm allowed to go back to work in a week.
