Mitomycin side effects

I have had Mitomycin after each Turbt(3). Then I would go on 6 treatments of BCG. The side effects that I get from BCG last about 5 days now. I believe the chemical stays in your system for up to 6 weeks. I was informed early on, that I was to use a contraceptive during inter-course for 6 weeks after each BCG treatment. Hence that is how I have guessed at the 6 weeks.

I had 8 weeks of Mitomycin C last April & May. During the therapy I had very little (MINOR)side effects. I was just wondering how long does chemicals stay in your body and how long should you experience minor side effects? Thanks as always. Chuck
