:) My question is on chemotherapy and immuno-therapy.

I have read that immuno-therapy, such as BCG, can have strong side effects.
I also know that chemotherapy such as Mytomycin and Thiotopa can have side effects as well and may have unknown side effects. My real question: Isn't the medical community hiding the low efficacy rate/ in-efficacy of these drugs, that is the non-effectiveness ????

Well, evidently, you and your Doctor are doing something right, so, I hate to even put my 2 cents in the pot. I would feel better if there had been a biopsy, but, like I said, you two are a good team, and have been a success so far.

I love animals. I'm glad you posted and hope that you continue to do so.

It's nice to meet you here.

Hi, just wanted to update on my JuLy 31 appointment to see how the 3 white patches discovered on my JuLy 9th checkup were. WeLL, the patches in three weeks changed to a pink coLor and my uroLogist decided to cauterized them, and boy did he. Being I didn't want a turbt ( had one done on my first tumor in 1986) done in the hospitaL as I take care of my 91 year oLd mother, my ranch animaLs and aLso am semi-retired from my animaL care business which makes it very hard to get away. My doctor has been so good about cauterizing in his office and after the third tumor he cauterized the 4th one didn't come back for around ten years which was in feb of this year. So now with the feb tumor and now the pink patches he wants me to come back in 2 to 3 months and if anything new has grown wiLL do a biopsy and might start me on bcg. I can't beLieve I went so many years and now it's starting up again. It's good how we aLL here are under good management of being checked for our bLadder probLems then having any treatment that is needed. I know for the rest of my Life my cancer wiLL be with me in some way but it wiLL never win out. So to you aLL just hang in there and we wiLL win and beat any new thing that comes up. Take care everyone---JuLie
