Hi, Everyone, It seems as if it's been a long time since I have really posted here but wanted to share our great news as well as inspire others with a stage IV diagnosis. Those who don't know Jim was diagnosed back in the summer of 2010 with BC. He was stage III going into his RC/IC. Then during surgery they found that he had positive lymph nodes which put him into stage IV. Well, this Friday that happened to also be our 44th wedding anniversary we received amazing news that Jim is still Cancer Free until proven otherwise! His CT as well as his blood work was all great. Just fine. Woo hoo. As Jim says he always considered himself fairly remarkable but as of now he will take his CTs as not so remarkable. He says that as the reports often say that "findings unremarkable" We will take it! So, wanted to let all here know how things are going for us. Just great! And, to let those who have a stage IV dx not to be dismayed there is hope for a good life. Will his BC return maybe but until then we will continue to LIVE each day to it's very fullest, and get the word out about BC and it's symptoms. Florida is once again, the 3rd year in a row, to do a resolution declaring BC month throughout FLA USA in July 2014! We are so grateful for the representatives and senators to do this. It's all about the awareness!
