Wow, that's great your son got pregnant so easily. I already have fertility issues myself, so if dh does too, it'll just be more difficult. He's going for the semen analysis soon.

I tried to find a larger one........I know when my son had testicular cancer and took some of the same drugs as for blc...gemzar and cisplatin...he reserved sperm ahead of time in a sperm bank as it was possible he would be sterile.....1 yr after treatment his wife became pregnant without the help of the sperm bank. All things possible!! :D

Thanks Patricia. Too bad the study only had 12 people. I'm glad to know though and glad DH didn't have BCG.

Greetings.

DH had intravesicular mitomycin 2 years ago during his third transurethral surgery. The tumor they removed that time turned out not to be cancer (the first surgery path did show cancer). Now we're trying to conceive and I'm wondering about effects on fertility. I know there may be effects from the scar tissue, but what about the mitomycin itself? The urologist and my reproductive endrocrinologist both don't seem to know if mitomycin affects male fertility.

We'll be getting a semen analysis soon, but is there some specific testing beyond that? If semen analysis turns out ok, does that mean fertility not affected?

Anyone have experience with this?

Thanks.
