I just wondered if anyone had anything on this. I had my cystectomy/neo last October and all seems to have gone pretty well. One thing I have now that I'm pretty sure I didn't have before, is a prickly sensation on my skin when it gets warm and particularly in a warm bath. It's actually pretty unpleasant and, with summer on the way, I'd like to get to the bottom of it. I have mentioned it to my medical team who don't seem to think that it's significant but have taken bloods for kidney function to check. I also looked into acidosis as it can be a symptom of that. Anyone have this experience or any ideas? I guess it could be some general metabolic change that's taken place.
In my search I also came across this information on the many uses of baking soda which I thought was quite good. I never knew it was so versatile!
