Ileal Conduit surgery - still leaking urine?

I've known some who have leaked a whole lot more..its not uncommon to leak for 4 to 6 weeks after. Here's a file you can open .

My father is home as of yesterday from surgery. Whenever he stands, he still leaks from "the oringinal plumbing," as he says ... a few tablespoons each time. Is this normal as an aftereffect from the surgery? They did the procedure on Dec 1st.
