I Would definitely send Dr. Schoenberg an email with all your information. Also, like Patricia said the Appointment desk does not realize the urgency you are feeling. You might also try sending all the information that Patricia mentioned, plus your concerns by email to Charlene Rogers, R.N., MSN - Research/Clinical Nurse Coordinator. She works closely with Dr. Schoenberg.
Like Rocky, Dr Schoenberg is also my Doctor. After 2 years of Walter Reed Army Medical Center my husband retired and off I went to Dr. Schoenberg. And it seems it did take about a month to get an appointment but your case is different than mine and I was already under care.
As this is the vacation season Ms Rogers can also probably let you know if Dr Schoenberg perhaps is on leave and suggest an alternate Doctor if needed.
