Rich;
It is really good to hear from you. I sure hope that things continue to improve for you. It will feel a great deal better to
get rid of that catheter.
Wishing you the best Rick!

Rick,

Glad to see you back. You sure had one of the worst experiences I've heard. Hope things continue on the upward path that you FINALLY seem to be on.

Still have catheter and JP in place. Had a "floroscope" and it looks like all the leaks are gone but still getting some flow that the surgeon hopes to explain this Tuesday when he removes the catheter.

Up and doing just about everything including working a full day. Catheter is uncomfortable/painful at times. Other than that I feel 80% healed and up to 60% of my energy is back.

Sorry for not reporting back earlier.

Even though the 41/2 weeks ended up at 5 1/2 weeks in hospital and that I am 2 1/2 months in I guess it has been worth it.

Glad to have you back!!!! I was worried, to say the least. I know how this can mess with you. Hang in there and keep up the good fight. It is good to have you back!

Thanks to all of you for your support. Pat I will be looking at a second opinion if further procedures are needed and will run your thoughts by my GP, Surgeon and Disease specialist.
