Nancy,
I am two and a half years out and they will often see things on the CT’s that will cause them to want to take another look because it could be something or nothing and time will tell. You have questions that only Dr. Bochner can answer. If you can email him ask him the questions you are asking us if not call and let them know you need to talk to him. Worrying about this is not an option for two months get your answers and then make an educated decision.
Let us know what you find out.

So sorry to read this but I would insist on seeing a gyno asap. I have not had your surgery so I cannot comment from that POV but with that CT scan results I'd be pushing to see someone right away.
Hugs for support. ((((balihigh)))

Last week I had my first 3 month check up after my RC in Sept. The path reports after surgery showed that the cancer was completely contained in the bladder. There was no muscle invasion or lympth lode involvement.

When I received my CT scan report yesterday, I went into shock. The report said "soft tissue prominence in the area of the vagina". The nurse told me that it "could be" something from the surgery. Dr. Bochner just said that he wants to see me in 2 months rather than 3.

What is this? Is it something to worry about for the next 2 months? Should I press to see the doctor sooner? I think I have always been in denial with this cancer and I can't believe it could be something bad. My recuperation has been so smooth and fast. I finally was feeling normal again and then boom!! Another part of me says, yeh, it could be back but then why would Dr. Bochner wait 2 months if he thought it was cancer. He is such a thorough doctor and I trust him.

Anyone else have such an experience?
Thanks, Nancy
