My RC date

Hi Maria,

Just wanted to drop in to say best of luck tomor, I'll be thinking and praying for you tomor! I'm sure you will get through this just fine, let us know how you go when you can because we'll all be thinking of you!

Just calling in to say thank you very much to my bc family for all the support during these long few months. Thanks to you all who have sent me private messages wishing me well, that just means so much to me to know I am not alone with this cancer.

Thank you to Cynthia and Wendy for the hard work they do with this forum. I honestly do not think I could have coped too good without the support and compassion from other members, I feel very grateful to have this site.

Well as you know tomorrow is the RC date.
I am anxious but not as bad as I have been during the past few weeks, the 2 days with no food has had a mind numbing effect!!
Leaving here at 4.30am and Surgery at 8am

I will try and ask my husband to give an update done during the next few weeks. If not you can bet I will be back to let you know that I am doing fine.

Maria - thoughts and prayers are with you and your family! My dad just had his RC (Neobladder procedure) last Wednesday. He's still in the hospital but hopes to come home tomorrow or Tuesday and so good so far. We are all relieved and pleased.

I pray for the same success with your procedure, etc. You mentioned having kids - being the child (although I am 33)of a BC patient, I can relate to how scary it is on this side of the fence. If they need additional support - please feel free to contact me. I would be happy to share my experiences on the emotional end of things - if needed. Sometimes we are afraid to ask our parents things for fear of upsetting them.
