HAD AN R/C??? HOW LONG CANCER FREE!!!!!!

OK...I not far ahead of you, Gene, only 10 months clean now but looking forward to 1 year anniversary...then going to Maui to celebrate with my daughter who cancelled her vacation last year to be with me for surgery. The experience has taught me to value, treasure each day I have and so life is far more meaningful than before. It's great to know those who have made it to the five year mark and beyond...I do think I recall reading on the BC website about a guy who was at 15 years...I predict some of us will make it to 20 more and beyond...GO WARRIORS ! Had an RC and Indiana Pouch in July 2003 so will be 5 years this July Cancer free

Surgery on 22 June 07 (nearly a year)
Chemo ended in Dec 07
Scans and test came back negative in April 08

Surgey Nov. 1, 1999. two hernia surgey 2005 and 2006, bag now on left side. cancer free. found it from my annual physical, blood in urine. male 53 years old mike

R/C 17th August 2007. Cancer free post op! Due next MRI on Monday - let's hope it still shows I have no recurrance!
