Has anyone been able to get long term disability approved due to all the symptoms of TURB’s and BCG?
I have private short and long term disability insurance with my company. I am currently on short term which can go up to 26 weeks. It was approved after my Urology Oncologist confirmed my symptoms painful urgency, lack of sleep...
But my HR handbook clearly states approval of STD does not mean LTD will be approved.
Our LTD stops at age 65 - which for me is next February. So at most LTD would be 7 months. That would get me to plan B for retirement.
Would love to hear other’s experience before exploring.
