I live in Amsterdam, just wanted to say 'dag'. As someone who follows the literature, I can tell you that the French are very much up to date when it comes to urological cancer, they are part of the European Urology Ass., which is extremely reliable and cutting edge when it comes to research and treatment options.
Of course if you're stuck in one of those lovely, tiny French villages, you might be best off traveling to the nearest city, at least for second opinions if you need to.
PS my husband and I are seriously thinking of moving to France at least part time...you know...the weather here in Holland, ugh.
I have an appointment wth the Uro next wednesday to examen the "polype" as seen on the echo.
I am worried as everybody would be.
Reading as mutch as I can aubout bladder cancer.
I am male 62 and of Dutch origine, but living in France and would like to know if there are more forum members from France.
Also: does anybody know if medical treatmend of bc is in general good or bad in France??
