So, Simon, is your scope over with, and how did it go? No symptoms of infections, we hope?

I have done pretty well this last 3 months. My results from my second biopsy were good. I only missed a couple of days of work and had one round of antibiotics. I am finally off of the pain meds. I sure am nervous about tomorrow. My bladder didn't look that great last time I looked. This time I will insist on some antibiotics, thanks for the heads up on that Ro.

Simon,

This comes straight from my CAT scan taken in May 2006.  That would have been 6 weeks after my secondary TUR.   I have no idea if the bladder wall remains thick forever or just for a period of time...

Sure wish that you could get to the bottom of the pain meds issue.  I've heard you mention this before.

Regards,
Rosemary

Thanks Pat,

Your sentiments about a second opinion are definitely shared by many others.

I really hope my GP can tell me more on Thursday. She should have my results by then.

A second opinion shouldn't be to hard to come by I would hope considering the circumstances.

I am just concerned about receiving it from a Uro of the same Health Authority.

Apparently, my Uro has an excellent reputation as a Surgeon.

Oh well, just have to see what happens Thursday...

Sure would be nice to know.

Simon.

Well you're definately fighting infection or inflammation and something is blocking the flow of urine.......has he considered putting in a stent to open the flow....? You might want to consider a second opinion from another uro?.......They really have to get to the source of this. I wish i could help you further.........Pat
