inflammation or scar tissue after bcg

3 weeks 6 days ago #59752 by sara.anne
Yes, it could be scar tissue from the biopsies or it could be something call BCG-cystitis. BCG can be very irritating to the bladder lining. Not time to panic yet! Multiple times I had to delay additional BCG treatments due to BCG induced irritation.

Had cysto yesterday 6 weeks after bcg treatment. Doc sees more inflammation on left side of bladder than on the right. Said it could be scar tissue on left due to two previous biopsies done. I'll have cytology results tomorrow. If negative, I follow up in 3 months. If positive, he will do biopsy. Anyone have an experience like this? I'm so scared.
