It is extremely unlikely that you have had CIS (carcinoma in situ) for almost 6 years. CIS is high grade and rapidly growing and spreading. It would not have "stayed the same or better."

There are many other causes for symptoms such as yours and I would expect that your urologist would have discussed these with you. If not, then you need to initiate the discussion.

Again, I would emphasize, that it is very unlikely that you have bladder cancer!

Hello. I have not been diagnosed. I have had negative cytologies fish and cystoscopies. Hiowever I have been suffering from symptoms of frequency and urgency for 5 years going on 6. concerned bladder cis may have been missed. Does anybody knows if untreated cis would have caused worsening symptoms symptoms if left untreated for so many years. My symtoms have been the same no worse or better. I’m just very concerned any information would be greatly appreciated.
