hi im new to the forum and im wondering if maybe I could just get a couple general answers
so I just turned 60 this new years and I was diagnosed with bladder cancer in may 2018 , I had a small non invasive tumor removed it was however high grade , I had my first cystoscopy after my tumor removal in October all was ok , my latest cystoscopy was beginning of feb which showed 2 irritations which lead to biopsies 2 weeks ago
I got my pathology results today and it is carcinoma insitu high grade , so as I expected my urologist is recommending BCG , what im really not sure about is he says once a week for 6 weeks and doesn't really expect me to have to have more , however he says I will need to be checked after the 6-8 weeks of healing
from what im seeing though is most people seem to have it several times atleast 2 different sets of 6 weeks
is BCG normally done at urologists office , should I see an oncologist , I want to do the right thing
