Is it painful after TURBT if a muscle sample was taken?

If that is from the path report, there was muscle in the sample.

Just a suggestion, I often find that it is MUCH easier to get an answer via the nurse than trying to contact the doc directly. If she can’t answer the question she can get it for you, or if it is urgent she can get the doc to respond.

Thanks Sara. I hope you're right.

I will need to talk to doctor but I don't know how to find him because he's always so busy.

Like I said in one of earlier posts, the first TURBT report says it's T1G2 but it doesn't implicitly say that muscle sample was taken. It says "T1G2, doesn't invade muscle" but it doesn't say if this is doctor's observation or if this is from a lab test.

I'm so stressed that I don't know this information.

No...it wouldn’t e painful because a muscle sample was included. The amount taken is very small.

Hello,

I've another question about TURBT.

Does anyone know if there should be pain after TURBT if a muscle sample was taken?

My dad underwent two TURBTs and he says he's not feeling any pain.

I am not sure doctor took a muscle sample.

I'm worried doctor only scraped off first layer and didn't take a proper muscle sample.

Any ideas?
