Jfoutz,

I am glad you were able to hook up AND that Dr. Harris was able to accommodate you. Please say hi to him. My full name is Alan Dale, ask him when he is going to play golf again! He is incredible!

Alan,
Just wanted you to know I had an appointment with your nice Dr. Mansel Harris this morning and he is going to instill my BCG here in Marble Falls. Thanks again for posting his name, this is going to save me the 5 hour drive to Dallas each way.

Brother Sean, it looks like we are pretty close in time in finding out if the BCG has worked. My appointment is May 9th. Hoping you get a good report! I didn't have any symptoms with my BCG treatments other than some residual burning (not associated with urination) but I drank some water with baking soda and that went away. Did you have any ill effects during your treatment?

Peace and Love, Dave

My next Cyst is in April, which is three months after my last BCG. I was happy with that but after reading some other comments that four, six, or even eight weeks is the norm, now I'm not so sure.

08/16/16 - TURBT - 1 tumor, T1HG, 7.5 cm x 7.5 cm x 1.8 cm, non-invasive papillary.
BCG treatments (15 doses total - last March, 2018). As of latest cysto, As of May 4, 2023 - cancer free!

Hi Dave,
My husband just started his BCG (2nd week now), and here in New York at Memorial Sloan kettering, the standard for him (T1HG + CIS) is to do a cystoscopy after 6 weeks after the end of the initial treatment.

Wish you the best,
Natalie

Ps- I started a topic on BCG , and got 2 replies and the topic was "locked". I can't reply or thank the responses, and no one can asnwer anymore. Anyone had that happen too?
