Congratulations Nancy! That is so wonderful to hear. Your post exactly describes my own feelings about those impending checkups. I actually go days now without thinking about bc, and that is a milestone all by itself.

So happy for you!

Best wishes... Catherine

Last week was time for my yearly cysto, 2 year CT Scan and check up. Always good to hear "cancer free" :) Honestly, I am fine during the year, but as the date comes closer, doubt sets in, I don't think I will ever take my check ups as "everything will be fine". Maybe normal for me, since I am a little OCD
So far, I post my results to give hope to those starting this path. I still keep vigilant with my bladder cancer, drinking a lot of water, eating healthy, but it isn't any longer the first thing I think of when I wake up everyday. (except my prayer of thanksgiving.)
This forum and the wonderful volunteers on this site, helped me figure things out, plus all the encouragement through some scary times.
Since being on this site for 9 years, I know bladder cancer can and does return, so I am thankful for every clear cysto the past eight years.
