Dear Honma. I have two cancers now, the lymphoma and bladder (recently diagnosed). I just finished a very difficult chemo for lymphoma for 6 months, I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to take it, especially after 3 months of torture. When I asked my onc, he said that he had a 101 year old patient who was taking the same regimen as myself. That helped me to continue. The bladder cancer death is not fun, it's much more difficult than BCG. BCG is not a real chemo. I told my family that even though we are all mortal, but I want to die healthy, from the exhaustion of my living forces, but not from a horrible disease. My advice is keep fighting. You can do it.
I actually plan to attend my grandson's wedding, and he is 1 year old now.
