My doctor seems to think that my bladder cancer is not back already. I had my small non invasive bladder tumor removed on 7/10/14. My cystoscope is scheduled for 10/24 and that is when we will know for sure. After surgery my symptoms almost went away. Now they are back full fledge. She thinks my symptoms are from interstitial cystitis (ulcers on my bladder). When I look up IC it does not have black/ flank pain as a symptom. So I think she is wrong. Does anyone have the same issue as me? If so what have you done for your symptoms of IC/ Bladder cancer? Thanks for your input. Also can anyone tell me if you had the same kind of tumor removed and if it came back? She says I should not worry. Who woudn't worry abuot cancer coming back? I think she feels like I am just a number to her. I am seeking a second opinion. She is a urologist. Do you think I should see an oncologist?
