Makes one wonder. They know roughly how many are under treatment and roughly how many new cases there are each year. That shouldn't be too difficult to forecast two or three months out for production. Ridiculous! Sorry to read that.

DX 5/6/2008 TAG3 papillary tumor .5 CM in size. 2 TURBS followed by 6 instillations of BCG weekly with a second round of 6 after a 6 week wait.

Yes, I have seen a letter from MEDAC, a supplier of BCG for intravesical treatment in Sweden. MEDACs supplier for BCG has production problems. This means MEDAC is not able to deliver any BCG until earliest in September.

MEDAC also claims it has been some shortage of BCG for the last two years.

A year or so ago there was a severe shortage. There were only two companies that provided BCG. This is the first I have heard of it this year, but it is not unlikely.

PS Just looked it up and indeed there is another shortage
