AnneH, The burning is a sign that the BCG is working. The bleeding could be from that, or from the catheter scratching you. If the burning gets to much to handle your doctor can lower the dose. Some times they have to because the side effects get to bad.

I just completed my third treatment of BCG, this last one caused burning and some bleeding. The bleeding was only the first six hours, but urgency and burning continue. All three treatments caused flu like symtoms, should I be concerned about the burning it is now forty eight hours?
