Thanks for the congrats on my checkup last Oct. That was the first time I had gone a year between cystos, so I was a bit more nervous than usual plus I had a new doctor since mine left Vanderbilt the previous month.

This month is my 4-year anniversary of being completely cancer free after my surgery on 2/25/2010. My path report showed that the TURBT at the local hospital had left a tiny piece of tumor behind but cutting out that portion of the bladder wall in the BIGGER surgery got it out of there.

I wish that could be the case for all of us... just cut it out, throw it away, and never have to look over our shoulders to see if bc is chasing us. That's what I would do it I had superpowers! I would vanquish bc forever!

He didn't say anything about BCG. But it's been over 5 or 6 years since I have had any. I'll make sure I ask him.


And congrats in Oct. and better luck than me in Feb. I give you 6 snaps!!!

I know this is very disappointing news, Doc, and I'm sorry things didn't go better. I am glad they are getting them out of there next week.

Does this mean another trip down the BCG highway?
