On second thought, your patients would likely really get a kick out of farting. Their parents may not though.... ;)

Congrats on the neo.

There he is!!!! Yes, getting up and down is tougher than standing or walking! Just remember, they are only impressed and excited about farts in the hospital (although Australians sure have a lot of fart jokes). Don't start thinking that your patients will appreciate it as much as the med-surg nurses. :)

If I had a nickel for every time I said "walk, walk, walk" I'd be able to pay off the national debt. Ok, maybe not, but at least my house!

Walking in place once you stand up from the chair or bed counts in the beginning. After that, hit the halls. You don't really want to be in your own room once the farting is starting! :D

Did you get a neo or IP? I know you had a lot of stricture problems for years so I'm curious if your surgeon was able to figure out how to deal with that.

Warm Regards,

Mike

Sitting in he chair now. Pain level tolerable. Hopefully go for a walk today. Getting up & down harder than standing? Still fartless so still NPO.

I have it on good authority that Warren is recovering well from his cystectomy. Please send prayers and well wishes his way.

Warren: when you read this, please give us an update.

I hope all is going great and you are out soon!
