I'm new to the board, so I hope that I'm not being redundant with my questions. I'm a 12 year veteran of CIS. 8 TUR's, 48 BCG's, 24 Mitomycin's. I've had 3 TUR's in this last year, but no intravesical treatments for nearly 2 years. All pathologies have been very early lesions until now for the last couple of years. After this last TUR 4 weeks ago, the pathology was more advanced and now the doc is recommending the BCG and Interferon.
I haven't begun treatment yet, should start in another couple of weeks. My question is, are the side effects relatively similar to those of straight BCG? I've not received all the information yet, as I'll be given everything the day of my first treatment and I'm trying to get myself prepared.
