Hi Suzi... So sorry to hear your news. Will keep you in my thoughts and hope for good results from your surgery. Coincidentally January 4th is the one year anniversary of finding out I had bladder cancer. I am hoping that 2011 is a better year than last, and I hope the same for you once you get this surgery behind you.

Best wishes... Catherine

Suzi, that is a bummer. Assume you will be having a TURBT? What was your original diagnosis? Did you have BCG? I go in for my first 6 months check in February and am already started to get worried!!

First tumor was superficial, I had it removed on Nov 2005 Dr said I don't need anything else just check up every 6 month. on Nov 2006 it's back and because I had moved to another city I went to another Dr who is my recent ones, he put me on 7 courses of BCG+ interfon A . then 6 BCG. I had it done by Sep 07 since then I am clear till last week my Dr found new one and he told me it's superficial . I didn't have any maintenance of BCG
my question is do I need mitomycin after TURBT ? any suggestion?
