6 MOnth Cysto only after one year?

I do not have the urine test results yet but he said it all looks good. I am now officially on a six month schedule. What a relief.

I have a friend that has now had clean scopes for over 10 years. He says that after 2 years he became less aprihensive.
Anyway, tomorrow morning is my two year scope. I will post here when I get the results.

I've heard (I think from my doc) that after an RC, if there was some micromets or something it would usually show up within 2 years.

I also remember Pat posting a study that showed it can still show up after that.

However, my two year anniversary of my neobladder is in October and I'm looking forward to it. I still feel like it is more likely to show up in the first two years.

However (again), my momma didn't raise no fool <as the expression goes> so I will continue to be vigilant and follow up regularly.

Two years is certainly a milestone worth celebrating!

We all hope for the long term eradication of this cancer thing. But time does not seem to diminish the recurrence. Every individual is different of course, but I am hoping for another "all Clear" for you.

So here I am again with my next scope scheduled for tomorrow. This is my 2nd aniversary since being diagnosed and my secone scope on the six month schedule. What a roller coaster. I guess you all feel this up and down when scope time comes.
I know that bladder cancer often repeats but is the chance of a reocurance less as time goes by?
