hi just wanted to let you know i hav been in hospital finally
and had my ureter checked out
the reason for this was an inconclusive ct scan i had
my news was really good
there was no tumor in ureter it had a kink in it so they stretched it and also checked out my 1 remaining kidney
when i woke i had 2 catheters in one draining kidney and the other on my bladder
it said on my notes that ihad had a ROYAL FLUSH
my uro came and gave me fantastic news that i was clear with no evidence of disease
shortly after my good news i was in a lot of pain
apparently this was normal after the procedure i had
they called it kidney colic
the kidney was reaccting to the catheter
quite scary there was a lot of blood in my catheters
but after an overnite stay i was free to go home
back for cyto in 3 months
time to chill ....... for now anyway x
