Suzy,

Last year at this time I was completing 8 weeks of Mitomycin C and other than some minor side effects (fatique and the normal evasive irritation)I have done OK. A year later I have had 4 cystos and they have all been clear. I know some have done better with BCG and some with Mitomycin. :unsure: What we all strive for are those clean cystos. Hang in there.

I never had BCG. My uro preferred an 8 week course of Mitomycin C. I was TaG3 plus CIS. I have never had a recurrence in 8¾ years. I wish the same for everyone else. Perhaps you will have such a response.

Urethral stricture, urethroplasty 10/2009
CIS 11/2010 treated with BCG. CIS 5/2012 treated with BCG/interferon
T1G3 1/2013. Radical Cystectomy 3/5/2013, No invasive cancer. CIS in right ureter.
Incontinent. AUS implant 2/2014. AUS explant 5/2014

Hello there jack
Rightly or wrongly i went bac to my original uro who i had in the very begining of my dx i really like him he said my last finding was of low grade which had not changed since he seen me in 2007 and he put me on mytomycin c
so roll on thursday !!!!!!!!!!!!! ugh
i feel as fit as a fiddle but did in the begining when dx thats the scary part i had no symptoms

Hi Suzy

I was TA Grade 1. The BCG after 2 failures, finally did work for me. I am now 16 months cancer free.

Have you had a 2nd opinion?

mytomycin c for 6 weeks was created by suzy wong
completed 6 weeks mytomycin treatment as bcg failed to work
had 6 weeks bcg clear
then 3 weeks bcg failed
now tryed mytomycin find out thursday the 30th if it has been a sucsess
my last tumor was low grade
i am TA G2
anyone similar?
is it better at this stage to keep doing treatment????
