Doug had the first 5 minute radiation treatment today. He almost fell asleep on the table and was surprised when they said -- we are done for today. Wish I could be that relaxed!!

Good to read about good news.

DX 5/6/2008 TAG3 papillary tumor .5 CM in size. 2 TURBS followed by 6 instillations of BCG weekly with a second round of 6 after a 6 week wait.

Doug has an X in the middle of his chest and one under each arm for "markers" so they will know where to point the radiation (this is all in layman's terms). Of course, you have to wash under your arms, so I am going over the X's with a Sharpie each day. His treatments will start next Monday and will only be 5 minutes each; he will receive 5.

Oh - and his scope went well. No tumors in the bladder.

That is good that you are feeling good about everything. I'v been following your guys for two years now and it was a shock to read the first post.

08/16/16 - TURBT - 1 tumor, T1HG, 7.5 cm x 7.5 cm x 1.8 cm, non-invasive papillary.
BCG treatments (15 doses total - last March, 2018). As of latest cysto, As of May 4, 2023 - cancer free!
