Yesterday, I headed down for my cycle 5. The transfusion went well and I felt really good after getting it. I'm considering vampirism as a new way of life.
My counts were all up and the only issue was creatinine, which is indicating kidney function problems. Hopefully, that will resolve after chemo is done. Usually it does. They reduced my doses and after a bunch of number crunching determined I am still ok to continue in the clinical trial.
Feeling pretty good today with only intermediate nausea. Not a lot of appetite but the dogs were happy that I didn't figure that out until I was eating so it was feast for them.
