Hope the counts bounce back soon Jean! My were a little low but not low enough to delay. Got my day 8 Gemcitibine infusion on Wednesday. Hope the pain gets under control.

My numbers were too low to have chemo so they postponed it until Wed. 17th. They have also ordered a back X-Ray and a bone scan becuse of the severe pain in my back and hip. I have gone to physical therapy and the therapist says he thinks it is arthritis in my back and brusitis in my hip. Dr. Magnifico just wants to make sure nothing else is going on. I also have my ct. scan this week even though I have one more chemo to go. I have been feeling pretty awful with the added pain but I know it will get better and when things get really bad I offer it up for Cole and Victoria (the grands) and then it has a purpose and it's not just yuuk and pain.....anyway it works for me.
Blessings....Jean

Glad you had a good Easter with the family, and that your chemo was ok·d too.Bit of a drag if you have to go with the transfusión, but it will give you a boost if they do it.

Hello Jean... Glad you were able to get your chemo today.

Sounds like a wonderful family Easter! And, yes, our loved ones do make those hard days bearable and the good days even more so...

Best wishes... Catherine

I was able to have my chemo today. My platelets were o.k. but I am anemic and if it doesn't get better in a few days I will have a transfusion.Putting on my warrior robes to get ready for the next few days. It was a lovely Easter at my granddaughters with all the family. They make every hard day worth going through. I am so blessed to have them.
Blessings....Jean
