Hi
I have been told its fine to drive as long as I dont feel drowsy.I am super honest with myself and am probably more aware of whether I feel ok to drive than ever before. Before I get in the car I really think about it in the past I know I have driven far too tired or ill so I think I am probably safer than ever.
Like your Mum I am on controlled release morphine although I usually find I need to take an extra dose in the evening

Mama is taking the time released morphine every 12 hours. She is currently not having to take anything for breakthrough pain. She does not seem to get drowsy. My sister is furious that she drove herself to church the other night. I, on the other hand, tend to think that if she feels like it and is not impaired by the morphine, why not? What are your experiences and opinions? What have your doctors said about this?
