Thanks for your reply.
I've had one TURBT. At that time Euro removed 2 tumors,one malignant
& one benign. I recieved the results of the biopsy from another Doctor
in the practice. As you might imagine,I had a hard time processing the
info.Also ,I dealt with a PA prior to the surgery.
I have made an appointment to see the urologist that did the TUR.
My wife and I think the early return date has something to do with
"Distorted Tissue" from the first biopsy.
The first thing I will ask the Doctor,when I see him,is why is he doing
another Cysto so soon. I am worried about what he might find.
My speculating is driving my wife a little nuts.
I can't help thinking and talking about it. I will see Euro on 4-20=07.

Was this a first or second TUR? When you say that you are having a cystoscopy in 6 weeks, do you mean there will be a biopsy specimen taken?

What kind of verbal information is your doctor giving to you?

Not sure how to use this forum(Not great with computers)
Anyway....My Dx is Ta,11/111,High Grade.
Pathology report showed,among other things,a passage under
Bladder Tumor that reads: "Diagnostic evalation of this specimen is limited
by the presence of artifactual distortion of the tissue"
I have been asked to come back for another cysto in 6 weeks.
the usual is 3 mos....I wonder if this passage I quoted has something
to do with asking me back sooner than norm.
I was very upset after TURBT.....now this coming back in 6 weeks
has me nervous re: reason & outcome.
