It's a " high grade / superficial " cancer.
I just spoke with the dr and he seems to not be worried. It has been about 8 weeks which is the " norm".

My provider has started to receive more BCG shipments, and are administering, I believe, based on highest priority.

Rich, if I may ask, what Stage/Grade is your cancer? From my short stint in dealing with BC, a lot of treatment options come down to the type and grade.

Welcome Rich 360,

I believe the worldwide shortage on BCG is receding. I would still be reminding your URO that you are ready. As far as waiting. The normal is 6 to 8 weeks anyway as you want to heal inside before any installation.. There are other chemo agents that are done locally (internally in the bladder, not systemically) also with almost the same the same results although BCG appears to be the best agent.

DX 5/6/2008 TAG3 papillary tumor .5 CM in size. 2 TURBS followed by 6 instillations of BCG weekly with a second round of 6 after a 6 week wait.

I had a very large tumor removed and did not penetrate the muscle. I’ve been waiting for the bcg treatment for 2 months!
Is this a normal waiting time?
If not treated with bcg, will the cancer return?
How can this medicine run out?? Why can’t the government step up and help Merck with a larger production facility?
Very concerned!
