Tim I just got a ton of samples from my Primary Dr. to try out. But since my left hip replacement and now awaiting this surgery as much as I love sex damn never thought I say this it is on hold for me bummer. My wife is an LPN and an angel and it hard but I asked her how she is with this and she is very very understanding. This May we will be married 30yrs so we have had our share of fun and I know God wants us to have more. But as you mentioned I have heard good things about Levitra. If by the grace of God I can return to a somewhat normal life I think I will try that Levitra. Best Wishes, Joe

Thanks Joe

FYI - I tried the Cialis, Viagra and also Levitra. All much of a muchness but the Levitra is probably the one that's best for me. I suspect that the Cialis is giving me a rash on my bum so I'm just experimenting right now!

Your response made me chuckle in parts but it sounds like you are have certainly been/are going through the mill. Hoping things work out for you. I'm not so worried about the scarring, just the other stuff. What kind of dosage are you on with the ED meds Joe?

All the best mate

Tim

Tim I had a bifemoral bypass done in 4/2000 and I got cut across the abdomen it is like 14 inches long. I also had 2 cuts in the groin which I did not know about until after the surgery lol, no privacy in the hospital you know. I had this cause I had a blocked artery in my right leg. The groin scars you can just about see now but the other is very visible. I am 52 now I was 45 then the first summer going to the beach man I was very self concious. Then one day some little kid said Mommy what's on that mans stomach great just what I needed. But you get over your battlewounds the main thing is you are alive. Around Sept. right before my left hip replacement I started having some ED probs. So my hip was like bone rubbing against bone and I am on blood pressure meds so I figured this had something to do with that if not I was going to see a urologist. Damn never having any idea I was going to for something far worst then that. I will know where I stand treament wise this Tuesday and if all goes well I am most definitely checking out where I stand on this issue. I had used Viagra in the pass that stuff works like a gem bro lol wife was trying to get away from me. I did see that blue vision thing they talk about but worth it so I was going to ask about this cialis you mentioned. But far too much on my mind now for all that now. Sounds to me you have more physological things about this then anything. Take Care My Friend, Joe

I wonder if anyone had anything to say on this; I had a cystectomy last october 2006 - neobladder with nerve sparing surgery. I'm fairly sure that the nerve sparing worked but I also use cialis or levitra as prescribed by my doctor as I'm pretty sure the surgery has given me a degree of erectile dysfunction (the cialis etc I take as a supplement and not just for sex - again as instructed by my doc). whilst I know I can deal with this to some extent using the meds, I also feel that my libido - sex drive - has reduced somewhat. I guess some of this comes down to "body image" - I'm not 100% continent at night and the Depends pants that I wear are sure-fire passion killers! Some of it may be that I don't feel as clean as I used to because of the dampness and other factors. I also feel understandably wounded in my abdomen which could be an issue. And there may be other physiological reasons that may resolve over a longer time. I wondered what others experience was.
