Yours is like mine then. I didn't want to say before, she never seen a W bladder.

They also took all restrictions off me. Back to normal!!!

I have to go back in 6 weeks for my 3 month follow up.

OK mine's "H" shaped and should go up to 500 but needs stretching. There are different designs. I'm in for blood tests next week and a chat with the nurse and a possible cystoscopy. I'll let you know how it goes. All the best Jeff

Hi Tim,
Yesterday went for my 6 week checkup where they did a scan of my kidneys and neo bladder to make sure all is draining. She told me the new bladder is a little smaller than the native and will hold 500cc. It's shape is oval also located at the same spot the old one was. She said she seen them to the sides of center.

Took me a while to get the courage of not using the depends not peeing but a dribble once in a while.
Yesterday was my first day and night in normal underwear. It really felt good.
I'm still going to use depends on trips or shopping for at least another month.

I didn't know that I'll ask when I go back next week. The instruction said, it's good to have 500cc in bladder no more. So that's what I been aiming for.

There are different shapes and capacities. My neo a "W" pouch, generally holds around 350 - 400 but it's taken a while to get to that. I stopped stretching it a while back as I felt quite happy with its capacity but I think there's a bit of room for improvement!
