Wishing the best for both of you as you start down the chemo track. Good to see you are working to get in the best shape possible before going in for the bladder R&R. We will be watching for updates, keep us posted.

1st Chemo treatment feel lousy, a little head ache and tired. The treatment itself wasnt bad but e en when i get the contrast for a CT scan i get light headed. Same with the chemo.
Its been a few hours and lots of water i feel a little better. I start my antinausea meds tomorrow. Heres hoping.

Hi Belle, When I was 48 I started my bladder cancer journey. Since then I have seen what you are facing an RC and chemo. That is far behind me I am now 60 and doing and have adjusted well and live a normal life. You just have to keep your eyes on the ball by that I mean you look at every treatment every procedure as a step to getting well. I remember being where you are now how terrified I was feeling as if the world had tilted and it had for me and my loved ones at least. I dealt with depression and panic attacks a good therapist and temporary medication helped a lot. Deal with one thing at a time and we are here for you ask questions and vent to you can do that with us we understand. And one day I predict you will be sitting at your computer writing a similar post to the new kid on the block like I am writing this to you.
