Yes. There could be micro mets that don't show up until years later.

Annual check is standard protocol. Just a good idea to monitor.

You need annual scans even with a neo bladder?

Great news Mike! I know since being diagnosed I don't look at every little ache and pain quite the same way either. Stuff I used to blow off can make my mind go wild at times. I guess that means we're human.

I know exactly what you mean! This 3 year check was quite a nerve wracking wait. I was supposed to have it in August but "things" got in the way and we didn't get to it till October.
I guess the thing about this year was my "get on with life" mode the last 4 months. I started making plans again.... work plans, for the next 5 years........family plans, vacations, season pass at the local ski area, racing plans........... Even future house plans, where and when......

Then this 3 year checkup sneaked up on me. I kind of kept it to myself that I was wary. I certainly didn't want my wife to worry again. When we came out of the Dr. office and walked to the car,........ I let out a Gigantic sigh of relief and just stood there a moment. It was then that my wife knew how BIG this anniversary was.

Can't wait till 5 years so I can say I kicked cancer in the ass.

Thanks Mike, for letting us all know how hard it is to just let go of this thing.
