I am new to this site/forum, so I was not sure of where to pose my question. I am currently experiencing discomfort in my left leg, above the knee. I think it may be a nerve, but it seems to flare up more in the evening. After I shower and go to bed, it eases up.
It is a weird feeling. It is not numb and it is not asleep (no tingling). But it is very uncomfrotable. A heating pad helps a little, and sometimes I put Icy Hot around the area. But I still can feel it.
Has anyone else experienced this feeling? What did you do about it? I have asked my urologist and my primary care physician about it, but they cannot seem to figure what it is or cure it.
FYI - I was diagnosed with bladder cancer in January and had surgery in February to remove my bladder, prostate, and 27 lymph nodes. My surgeon created a neobladder so I would not need a bag. This was followed by 3 months of chemo, which did not go well. I encountered numerous UTI's which brought me back to the hospital numerous times. I recently had follow up surgery because my right kidney was not draining properly. I am feeling pretty good right now, except for the discomfort in my leg.
