Vitamin D question

9 years 11 months ago #32999 by Patricia
Hi...i was refering to a Bl2 deficiency which happens at some point after cystectomy and not as a result of chemo. Though at a certain age we all become a bit Bl2 deficient.
Vitamin D is often low in patients who have cancer. But the pill form is just fine...but make sure you only get the D3...
Did your doctor recommend a certain amount? He should have.

Hi Folks

I have a question. It has been awhile since I posted. I seem to remember there is a certain vitamin deficency that can show up after chemo. Patricia used to caution that pills don't work and it requires a shot. My husband's last blood work showed a vitamin D deficency. Was that the vitamin in question? Thanks for your help. It is very reassuring knowing you are there.
